Maintenance Engineer

A Maintenance Engineer typically maintains and repairs various types of equipment and machinery in a range of industries. They often carry out inspections, perform routine maintenance and diagnose faults in order to keep machinery in optimal condition. Maintenance Engineers may either focus on particular types of equipment, such as medical or manufacturing machinery, or provide more general maintenance across a variety of workplace settings. They may also be involved in installing new systems and ensuring they are properly integrated into existing infrastructure. Being a Maintenance Engineer often involves working closely with other professionals such as electricians, operators and other engineers, and having an understanding of health and safety regulations.
